So excited to share our strikingly beautiful bride Trinh and her bridal beauty look! Trinh is 3/4 Vietnamese and her husband is American. We just LOVE seeing different traditions and looks for ceremony and reception.
Trinh started off her wedding day with a traditional American wedding look. We had the one and only Ariel on makeup and lead stylist Melinda on hair!
“I loved both Ariel and Melinda! They arrived early and were amazing…Ariel gave me a beautiful, natural air brushed look since I usually don’t wear too much makeup and all of my bridesmaids loved their makeup since they rarely get it professionally done. I loved the way Melinda did my hair – it has never looked better! I have had my hair curled before, but no one was able to give me loose curls like her, with some hair pulled up to frame my face”
Thank you to Darling Photographers for these beautiful images!
We’re not just saying it…we get to work with the most beautiful brides ever!!!
” Ariel and Melinda were a great team to have and I would highly recommend them to any bride! They will make you look and feel your best and that is exactly what you need on your wedding day!
We had to include this shot of Steve’s groomsmen gifts because they are just awesome!
When I saw Trinh’s traditional Vietnamese wedding look, I literally gasped! The shade of red, the headpiece, the elegance is stunning! I had to know more…
“My red dress and headpiece is called an “ao dai” which is a Vietnamese traditional dress. My husband wore a modern, black ao dai with gold detailing as well. During the reception, it is tradition for the bride and groom to wear their ao dai to greet each table. We visit each table in our ao dai, speak to the guests, thank them for coming, and that is when they give their gifts to us. The bride usually wears red and gold since these are more symbolic of royalty and luck.”
We are so honored to be a part of these traditions, new beginnings and the most joyous days for our clients!!! Thank you so so much to Trinh for trusting us to have a little part of your big day!!
Bonus! If you’re as obsessed as we are now with the Vietnamese wedding culture, here are a couple shots of Trinh and Steve’s Vietnamese Engagement Tea Ceremony where our bride wore a different pink ao dai. Makeup by Ariel again for this special party!!
